Prepare your home for winter: Our cozy rugs for a warm November
Published on 13/11/2024
Why Choose a Cocooning Rug in Winter?
When the cold sets in, a rug can make all the difference by insulating against the cold and adding an enveloping texture. In November, a warm rug becomes a true invitation to relax, especially in living spaces like the living room and bedroom. The TouTapis rug selection includes materials like wool, known for its ability to retain heat, and soft fibers for a luxurious and gentle feel.
Cocooning Decoration Tips:
- Choose harmonious accessories: Pair your rug with faux fur cushions, thick throws, and soft textiles to enhance the cozy atmosphere.
- Opt for natural and deep tones: Neutral colors or shades like terracotta, pearl grey, or beige evoke calm and warmth, blending perfectly with rugs featuring rich textures.
- Focus on lighting: Soft, dimmed lighting, such as low-intensity LED bulbs or fairy lights, highlights the texture and color of your rug while creating a soothing atmosphere.

Where does it come from? Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the quotes of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
